Hi everyone, if my questions have already been answered, I apologize in advance!
I am about to start a ‘work from home’ window screen repair business. No window cleaning, just repairing screens–offering pick up and delivery so no customer needs to head to their local hardware store. With that service offered, I imagine I will need to charge accordingly. I am reaching out here for some opinions and suggestions as to how to price my screen repairs. My first thought was to create price tiers by window widths, say 0-34" which would be considered ‘small’ up to 58"+ (XL) which I would measure the ‘long’ side. If that makes any sense!
I am aware that I will be more expensive than the hardware stores for sure but if I can save people the trips to the hardware store…
I’ve got the equipment set up in my shop and I am about ready to go except for pricing. Would appreciate any thoughts on pricing and what you think would be too expensive to charge for my services. Thank you!
