My LOGO, which I DESIGNED, My web site pictures (some with MY TRUCK IN THEM), Pictures of MY ACCOUNTS, MY web site art work & layout, and he is misrepresenting himself, and cheapening every dues paying member of professional window cleaning associations.

Now, it has been said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and anyone who knows me knows how willing I am to share and help out.

I owe you all an apology, but most of all I owe Jeff, his company, and his family an apology. My name is Anthony Pedolzky, I am the owner of Shine Brite Window Washing, located in Westfield MA. I hired a multimedia company, in December 2007 to give my company its first web presence. This company presented me with what I thought at the time was an amazing web site and I felt I definitely got my money’s worth and much more, what I was not aware of was that the company I hire, falsified themselves and presented me with a website which I now know was not theirs to present or sell for that matter. I am a small firm myself , 1 fulltime employee, 2 part time and a part time office person, that started in late 2005. So spending less than $1500 I thought was a great deal for what I received. The company did do in fact exactly what Jeff described in his post, and I take full responsibility for that due to it being my fault for not doing more research on the website when live. Again for that I am truly sorry to you all. This is not what I or my company wants to be known for or what we stand for. We pride ourselves on integrity and trust, without that you have nothing. That is why I am posting this, this evening.

At this time we have suspend our website with the help of one of the part time young men that work for me. I also spoke with I&W Multimedia, the company on which I hired and have informed them of their error. Prior to speaking with them I had early this morning spoke with Jeff, from First Klass Window Cleaning Inc. I apologized to him and verified what he said to be true; I had this conversation in my back pocket when speaking with the so called web master that designed our web site. When I challenged him on where the layout and images came from he told me he got the while surfing the net and said it was all completely legal, That is when I came back with really “Then why would I received a call from a gentleman form a company in Wisconsin sating otherwise", I then mention to him that I spoke with the owner of the website where he took/stole the images and design, he fessed up immediately, especially after I mentioned that Jeff would be contacting a “copy law lawyer” (Thanks for that one Jeff, I owe you a ton there and for everything else!!)
I then asked to speak with his boss or owner, and I informed him of my issues and stated expect that I expecta full refund, or I would to be seeking advice and retaining the help of a lawyer. We went back and forth with a few un-pleasantries, needless to say the least, I am stopping by tomorrow to receive a certified cashier’s check for the full amount.
I again wanted to apologize to you all!

I do not want to push my luck, but I would like to ask two things. 1st please have no association with I&W Multimedia, located in Chicopee, MA, if you are in the northeast. 2nd, I am now with out a web site, with the return of my investment I didn’t know if anyone can suggest a web design company, I can have the young man that works in my office do some, but all the paypal, and payment stuff, not to mention the client log in info. I do not feel we are capable to handle this large of a project?

The number referenced is a land line according to Verizon and is an unlisted unpublished number! The point is, why would any person doing business in the service industry have an unlisted unpublished number?? Doesn’t that make it a wee bit difficult for customers to find you???

Nice apology Anthony, but I find it hard to believe that you had no idea where the website material came from. Did you not even look at the website before it was launched??? Could you not tell that those weren’t your trucks in the pictures or your customers homes?? Oh, or maybe saying that you are affiliated with certain groups just makes it true, because it doesn’t and I know for a fact you are not associated with the IWCA or AUWC. Apologies are great if they are sincere. I think you are just sorry you got caught. You have a lot of nerve asking for help with a new website!

Ive never seen Jeff Klass’s website so I wouldnt go pointing fingers. I would leave this between Jeff and Anthony. I wouldnt want my name smeared all over every freaking forum because a web designer copied it word for word. This happens quite often. The guy wrote a big apology not to mention an apology to everyone on the forums - Thats going way beyond what I would have done. I would lighten up on this guy unless you have the facts. Its really none of our business.


I have seen Jeff Klass’s website and I did see Anthony’s website. It’s easy to blame someone else when you screw up. Yes he did apologize to everyone on this forum. My problem is more with the fact that this guy is misrepresenting himself. He is not a member of the IWCA, and organization that I do belong to and pay dues to be a member of! As the owner of a window cleaning business that has been in service since 1979 we are proud of our affiliation with the IWCA and would never claim to be part of a group that we were not a part of. The fact is he lists affiliations with the IWCA, MWCOA,UAWC on his yellow pages listing (White is dishonest because he is clearly not a member of these groups, which if you go to the sites and search for him you will find out for yourself. I apologize to you Steve and anybody else who feels I am being too harsh with Anthony, but I take it very personal when someone intentionally lies to me. Window Cleaning is how my husband I feed our family and the fact that this guy is doing business in the same state as us and misrepresenting himself to not only to everyone on this forum, but to his customers infuriates me.

Why not just report it to the proper organizations and be done with it? Let someone who has the legitimate bitch take care of it. Like I said, He offered up an apology and shut his site down. Problem resolved. How would you like to google search your company and find all of these window cleaning folks ripping on your business. That could cause you to loose some customers in your area im sure. Jeff had a legitimate complaint. I personally wouldnt have posted stuff out in the open like that but thats me. I couldve found this guy just by spending less than an hour. hes probably listed under (website information) Maybe sent a PM -He is a member on here.

As a window cleaning professional, if I was to go around misrepresenting myself I would expect to be called out by other window cleaning professionals. I’m not ripping on his business! I’m ripping on the fact that he has misrepresented himself to everyone here by claiming to be a part of organizations of which he is not. That alone says a lot. I just find it hard to belive that no one else is as angry about this as I am. As for shutting his site down, he had no choice!! I would love to hear what Jeff Klass’s feelings are at this point. He is the one who has truly been hurt by Anthony’s misrepresentations. I don’t think that Jeff was just airing “dirty laundry”.

I agree with you both, As far as having no idea, yes that is true, when I hired the company, they were able to provide references and examples of previous work. I called one of the references and they had great things to say and also mentioned what a great deal they received. (I have since spoken them as well to tell the I was hoodwinked and they should go back and check their web site, I plan to reach out to anyone who ever has done business with them and tell them the same) back to the point I didn’t think it necessary to search the web to see if what they provided me was true based on the reference and portfolio the showed me. I was probably a little naive when what I paid was what I felt was not enough for what I received.

I am not here to do anything but apologize to you all. I have only been in the business 3 years; I hope to be in it as long as possible. I fell the only way I or my company will survive is to have integrity and trust! That is why I did and do accept full responsibility for what happened. Yes it sucks I was laid out to dry by what I assumed was a reputable multimedia company.

I hope to continue to use this site and you all for advice, that being said that is why I asked for help with a new site, I still have my business to run and a service to provide to my clients, I cannot do that to 100% due to the amenities if you would they had with the site prior to having this all go south, They expect that from me and if I intend to keep my business going then I need t o get a new web site up and running.

Ainjemama as far as you are conserned, if you feel as if I slighted youbecauser you are a wcer, I apologize. My intent was never to slander or bastardize if you would the wc’ers, one of which I am. If I have to say I am sorry to every window cleaner here to Tallahassee I will and have no problem doing so. I hope you can accept my apology, if not I am truly sorry. I have taking every attempt to have Jeff accept my apology, at this time he has, I am sure he is still leery of that, but I do thank him for that and will continue to try and make it up to him and you all. There is a saying (and I hope I quote it correctly) “you can please some of the people some of the time but you can’t please all of the people all of the time, If don’t please you. IM SORRY!
