Shotgun or artillary spore

Anyone have information about shotgun or artillary spore? Two things in particular. I would like to learn as much as I can about what it is so I can inform customers. I would like to learn the best way to deal with it on glass. Right now I’m scrapping it off. Maybe a more agressive strip washer?

Hey there Eric

I attached a hand out for you…

Scraping it off is your quickest easiest bet.shotgun_flyer.doc (27 KB)

Scraping might be the only way if you don’t want to end up charging more.

I’ve seen the fungus falling of the glass when dealing with hard water removal once you apply Safe Restore. Rub it off with steel wool or scrubbing pad (white) and it gone.

What really p**s me off is when you’re scraping you remove the fungus itself on the first pass, and then you have to do 1 or 2 more to remove the “shadow” underneath.

Somebody please try some Sporiclean and share the results. I tested it for a few minutes one day one a residential job and the spots that were left after scraping rubbed right off with my scrubber (lest sit 15 to 30 scond after spraying). I will do more existensive testing myself whenever I get around to it
