Should I sell myself? Or the business?

I’ve just gotten into the window cleaning business and I’m currently in the stage of printing out flyers and handing them out. I’m wondering whether I should just advertise the service of my business or if I should advertise myself (young college student) trying to build the best window cleaning business in the area. I want to be professional and not make the advertising super personal but I also want to connect with my clients a little more than most companies. Curious which I should do and if anyone has a good example.

this is more of a vision and marketing front end thing

you can sell either, depends on what target niche market you’re going after, what do they care about? what’s imporatant to them?

you can sell yourself in the process, but if you want to go the route of growing and have employees at some point you’ll have challenges since that’s a different direction and now you have built on people expecting and wanting you

there’s always going to be an element of selling “you” in the business, but that’s different than selling you on the job
