Hey, just thought I’d post this for those of you who like to use suspenders to hold up your work belt. Found it in my Duluth catalog (those guys are relentless marketers): side clip suspenders.
Gives you better range of motion without the suspenders getting in the way.

This picture is snagged from google images, apparently, a few companies make this product, calling it “side-clip suspenders” or “holsetr suspenders”. Basically, it’s more like a holster than regular suspenders.
i’m not fat.
can i still use these? what’s the protocol on this?
I don’t think you have to be fat to enjoy the ergonomic design. Supposed to be more comfortable, less restrictive in movement. Never tried them out, just thought they may be an improvement for the people who wear suspenders. There’s always a better way to do things. Tweak your system inch by inch.
I was reading an article about Chipotle Mexican Grill awhile back. The founder of it says that it’s all in the details. Getting all the small details right and unifying it into a collective whole. I try to do that with my system. The more comfortable I am, the easier it is to organize and set up my gear etc

The first protocol is you do not talk about the secret window cleaner suspenders. The second protocol is you do not talk about secret window cleaner suspenders[/COLOR][/I]
the only thing i don’t like about chipotle is they put too much rice in the burrito by default. it’s like filler. i mean, rice is supposed to compliment the burrito, not dominate it. otherwise, love it. on the days we eat at chipotle or qdoba, i feel like i should use suspenders for my belt…
I really like my suspenders that have two straps in front and one on my back. With padded shoulders helps on long days.
I used the “old school” one on my tool belt (construction belt) the belt makes the belt rode really high in the front , no mater how low I hang them. Awesome idea I might just have to try them
Just buy the ettore/unger over the shoulders belt then there’s no issues. I do like suspenders and bowties myself
I wear suspenders on my work belt with the belt very loose. It just sort of hangs. Lots of freedom of movement and nothing pushing down on my pants so my pants actually stay up. I like these and I think I will try a pair.
