Crazy standards in their contracts.
Download the app and “clock-in/clock-out.” Take pictures. If you’re more than 45 minutes late, you are charged a $50 penalty. You can’t reschedule less than 2 days in advance. You must purchase and use supplies from one of their “affiliates.” Payment is Net 30 beginning on the 1st of the calendar month after the one you perform the service in. Not really net 30 is it? And it’s interesting that payment is so slow, even though you are required to invoice with their fancy app (or you are charged a $25 invoicing fee), which is advertised as “speeding things up.” You have to sit in on multiple 1-2 hour on-boarding webinars at times they choose…and so on.
I understand what they’re trying to bring to the industry, at least from the store owner’s perspective. From the contractor’s perspective, they are trying to make you as close to an employee as they possibly can. Their contract is extremely one-sided.
If you deal with these guys, bid high, because their demands are huge.
Oh, and use of their app gives them permission to access your media files in your phone.
Have fun with these guys. They’re the future of the corporate commercial cleaning.

That would make things very interesting for sure. I guess time will tell though.
Potential for a net 60? $25 invoicing fee? Unpaid webinar attendance?
I feel bad for service businesses that would be so desperate to tolerate those terms.
That’s how I felt. Once I saw their contract I said, “No thanks.” When the rep asked me what the problem was, I told him I felt the contract goes way beyond the industry standard.
Side note: did a little research on them through Glass Door. Wow, people hate working there.
