So what are you guys doing for the winter?

Holiday for me

You know you can copyright web content, right. C&D orders work wonders

I’m going to work when I have to and fish as much as possible.

Thor go to this website and try stealing copy… I couldn’t. I like to copy/paste things into word documents. Anyway, ask Paul what program he uses. It might be an answer, I’m actually surprised I don’t see that more often.

I use a Wordpress plugin. People can copy without using cut n paste… don’t forget the ancient tools
known as a pen and paper.

I’m handy at Printscreen, paint, Ctrl + v, crop, save as Jpeg:) There’s some really good stuff on your site, I only copy for my own education you understand. I’m not selling it or anything. I do the same with lawn care info from lawnsite. I must have thousands of word pages, helps me learn about everything from starting an echo trimmer to sharpening blades properly to advertising etc.

Prepping for baby #2 (due the end of February) after an almost 7 year break from the first, bottle feeding and diaper changing :0

Congrats. If it’s born on Feb 6 the kid will share my birthday, my grandpas’s birthday and Ronald Reagans birthday. Aquarius:)

I’m not worried about you or most others on here Mike… heck I may start putting together reports
on my posts in a PDF and send it to my list monthly.

There are some out there that are theives and will add my opinions/advice as their own.

Like a few on here, I’ve even had my window cleaning’s site wording ripped… then I
ripped him a new one.

No big deal. I understand why…its kinda cool actually. When I first got my website I didn’t know what to say either and I pretty much copied Fish’s site almost word for word. Mainly because I never liked them, but also because I had no idea where to start. Its cool. I emailed them and told them about how it affects SEO, but none of them were too cool about it. Oh well. Besides, that stuff on my site are not even my ideas, Kevin helped on a couple small areas.

Its just, those small areas are now on a bunch of sites here in san diego.

Imitation is the best form of flatery. It feels good to have the shoe on the other foot for once.

We are doing something new this year. We are offering residential and small commercial snow removal. I have been asking my customers about it through the summer and most thought it would be a good idea so we picked up a couple new snow blowers. Now I just need someone to design me a good snow removal postcard. Any takers??

I do residential because I get paid whether it snows or not and I got them all bunched up in a couple small neigbourhoods. Commercial is usually done by the snowfall (no snow, no money) and done with bobcats or truck mounted plows.

And Babe Ruth. BTW the zodiac is a joke;)

You better hope the Zodiac Serial Killer doesn’t know how to google.

Good point. I’ll sleep with one eye open.
