Just wanted to run by what I’m thinking and get you fine folks opinions. I like Mayyker orange krush soap, but it does seem to dry out fast in heat and sun and I’m located in Florida. So i was thinking of using Orange krush inside than Glassgleam with Winslow slip for outside. Anyone set me straight?
I have found the same with OC here in AZ. Dries too fast. So far in 25 years nothing beats GG4 for holding up in the heat and leaving a minimum of residue in any streaks or drips that may happen. I will add just a touch of Dawn for some suds and a little more slip. I use the same solution inside and out, I just can’t be bothered to have two solutions going. GG4 actually has excellent suds when used with a hog hair brush or some other applicator that gives great agitation. Many of the softer applicators or the flat ones lack a bit in agitation.
What is your dilution rate? I’m in Texas, in the heat I have found Winsol 120 to be the best. I use that mostly but I also like the orange Krush. The dilution recommended on the bottle seems a bit high so I go about 5-10ml per gallon and it doesn’t seem to dry out too quick.
I tried those Unger tablets a few weeks ago and liked the results I had. My only gripe was the solution had a funky odor if I left in the bucket for more than a day or two.
I keep a jug of gg4 but that stuff dries my hands out more than I like. The winsol 120 has a nice lemon scent and I find the spiders in this area don’t like to stick around when I use it. It also has the super slip built into the formula and for the price its a good deal.
I stopped buying Dawn. I’d rather support Mayyker and buy their soap. I just picked up 8 bottles of that stuff and I like it.
