Soft washing

hey guys
I have one last question about soft wash. were could i get S-H products? PLEASE HELP A NOVIST.

Your local pool company. Its called Liquid Chlorine. Most pool companys have 10% but some carry 12.5%. Both will work fine.

Thanks

You ccan also try chemical supply houses.

You can check with all of the janitorial supply houses in your town or close by. I get 12.5% SH by the 55 gallon drum from a local janitorial supply. The truck from a chemical company comes to town once a week so I just put in an order for a 55 drum when I need it.

SORRY GUYS this is probably the stupid’s question,
but when adding simple cherry to the mix, you guys talk about 8 to 16 oz. here is the dumb part is that powder or liquid form? Im not sure.
P/S Im dumb as dirt:)

Simple cherry is a powder measure by volume.

Your not asking stupid qestions so stop saying that. This fourm was place here for this reason. Check this out.Q) This question is regarding your product Simple Cherry. Can I mix the powder directly into my house wash mix or do I have to mix the entire contents of a 10 pound package into water then use that in my house wash mix. A) Simple Cherry like the rest

How much are you paying for a 55er there? The guys here try and split heads! For a 55er at Univar I only pay $105 but at the janitorial place they want to charge $250.

The local janitorial supply charges $150.00 for a 55’er. I could drive 50 miles to one town or 65 to another town and get it for $125.00. I come out better just paying the extra $25.00 for local and not having to drive out of town and pay for the gas.

Univar is about 65 miles away and I believe they wanted $125.00 per drum. I’d rather deal with local folks and not have to spend the time and gas going out of town. It’s actually cheaper here in town if you consider what a 100 or 130 mile round trip would cost in time and gas, not to mention wear & tear on vehicle, tires, etc.

150 is a pretty good deal. I understand not wanting to drive just for 25 bucks.

$105.00 outside of Florida is a killer deal! You got it made!

It was an inside job.

Once you get your bleach supply down check out this link on how to mix the chemicals.

AC

Hey AC. How long will a mixed up batch of house wash mix last in a poly tank? Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I need to find out were I can buy the stuff in my town. and then see what they charge. I have my first house next week to softwash and I need toi find were I can get it fast. I went ahead and ordered some on line hope it gets here on time.

You guys are awesome/ Thanks James

can you use the same mix on roofs and patio’s?

It depends but most of the time yes

What do you mean on it depends? we have some homes with red tile, and a lot of mold.

James,

Keep in mind the shelf-life of liquid chlorine is only about 2 to 3 months. After 3 months it starts to work less effectively. I don’t know how many jobs you have lined up but since your first job is coming up I’m assuming not that many. At this point, I wouldn’t go out and buy a 55 gallon drum of chlorine if you don’t have a lot of jobs lined up. For now, I would just buy it from a local pool supply by the case (4 gallons per case). It’s somewhere around 12 or so dollars per case. Once you can use a 55 gallon drum within 3 months of time, then I would consider going that route.
