I was already a veteran when that pic was taken.
While you were spending your day 'pushing around brats.'
I was nailing a Carmen Electra look-alike with equally sized implants.

I may be seeing this wrong, but it looks an awful lot like you have a pointed top sectional piece attached to the top of that extension ladder. Am I right?
Hey Chris
Is that a 45* angle cut I see at the end of the channel?!
Hmmm, that just might trump the wagtail vs polz debate feud!

Naw, it might just be the angle the pic was taken.
What I really want to know is: Why was Stan Lee cleaning windows???
Kinda reminds me of Murdock from the A-team…
A-Team Intro High Quality - YouTube. Okay I’m trying my luck at video uploading…
Don’t mess with Baracus…
[don’t try this at home, kids.] :o
Yeah, I was wondering if anyone would catch that.
Nice to see you eyeball things in as much detail as I do.
For what it’s worth, there were about 6 u-bolts holding that on, and I used it for YEARS, and never had an issue.
-that’s either a testament to piece ladders, themselves, or to my daredevil beginnings… you be the judge.
Funny thing is, I used it for a job that was just a little too tall for that 48.
And really started to like it.
That top piece didn’t have a Vgroove, so it sat firmly tight up against those frames in the pic.
(as you can see, I didn’t need the height for that job)
I could jostle back and forth as hard as I wanted, and it wouldn’t budge.
Incidentally, my current 40’s have the point within the ladder design themselves.
- no need for the bolt on.
(not that we ever use them anymore)
How do you even move a 40’?
I’m a ladder monkey as much as the next guy but to push a 40’ ftr. You got me BEAT…
We got poles for that…
That’s ain’t a 40, it’s a 48, man…
Answer: I move it with NO PROBLEM.
Physics over strength, dude.
We need a ladder moving thread for the smuck nubies…
Still man I want PROOF…
I bet it takes two of you guys to move that.,
