Some thoughts on investing in the right spot

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Delta Airlines one year ago, you will have $49.00 today. If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in AIG one year ago, you will have $33.00 today.

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Lehman Brothers one year ago, you will have $0.00 today.

But, if you had purchased $1,000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the aluminum cans for recycling refund, you will have received $114.00.

Based on the above, the best current investment plan is to drink heavily & recycle. It is called the 401-Keg.

A recent study found that the average American walks about 900 miles a year. Another study found that Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year. That means that, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon! Makes you proud to be an American!

Atta boy Seth! Funny but still makes you think. Go one further if someone had $1000 and put it under their mattress 1 year ago they would have $1000 covered in dead skins cells and dustmites today!

If I would have invested a $1000 in a WFP, I’d probably have $5,000 in profit.

When will I ever learn :frowning:

I prefer to drink beer from a glass bottle, not an aluminum can.

What an awesome topic/thread!

Seth, my hat is off to ya bro. Killer topic.

Ha. I wish I could take credit. My Father In Law sent it to me in an email.

Larry, you could save those bottles and build a glass bottle wall or house(depending on how much of a drinker you are). Ever see one of those?

See one? My college dorm was made out of one. Best part about moving out was finally getting to throw stones in a glass house. Worse part was cleaning up the broken glass. I stepped on a piece and cut my toe…luckily it was already soaked in alcohol.

Seth: You are so drunk!

I think I might just steal this joke… 41 MPG

Now’s your chance, Steve.
