what rubber do you use in your sorbo channels. Sorbo or soren. Sorbo seem to leave lines a lot of the time.
are you using Sorbo’s molded natural rubber or the extruded silicone stuff?
I love Sorbo’s regular rubber (it’s thicker and has a better “feel” to me than Soren) but I hear the extruded silicone rubber is junk.
It all depends on the feel you like I guess. I have never tried soren rubber, been using sorbo rubber for years, baron is cheap and has 4 sides, although it is a little harder than the sorbo rubber. then it also depends if you like to change the slot the rubber sits in if so then baron is no good for you.
Yeah silicone rubber is made for the massive channels 48-78". and you really need to have a docker thing to get the benefits from it as its edge does not last long.
Has anyone something new to say in this thread?
I’ve been thinking about next time try the Soren rubber in my Sorbo.
But I’ve read a older thread that someone complaint that the Ettore Soren rubber didn’t fit the Sorbo channel that well. Anyone has someone to say about that too?
Soren 100% fits in Sorbo Channels. Its not cheap stuff but it is great quality rubber.

Ettore makes great products. Do you like it better then Sorborubber?
Not a huge Sorbo fan in general but thats just my opinion. I know many love Sorbo.
For residential I prefer black diamond ,but honestly don’t feel works great on commercial… so I switch to sorbo for that.
People are really digging the Black Diamond, we sell a ton of it. Can’t argue with the price of Black Diamond Either.
Seconded. The soft formula wears out quick in liquidators but it’s cheap enough that shouldn’t matter.
i used to use soren rubber but cost to much now i just use sorbo rubber sorbo channels are the best you can get never ever have any problems with them no need to muck around doing mods to them
I love my Sorbo!
sorbo is the best
