I am thrilled to announce that our parent company, World Enterprises, has acquired Sörbo Products. After three years of negotiations, the deal is complete.
Sörbo had many companies interested in purchasing it, but Sören wanted it to go to window cleaners first, so he chose us. I am beyond grateful Sören trusted us to continue his legacy. Sören, if you read this, I promise we will not let you down.
I am excited about this for several reasons, but primarily because Sörbo Products are the real deal, 100% USA manufacturing. Americans made every Sörbo product you have used over the years in a small machine shop in California.
We are 100% committed to the legacy of USA manufacturing and will continue to produce everything in the USA.
This is very special to me. When we started this business, we struggled in the first 12 years because we were not allowed to purchase Sörbo Products to sell to our customers, not because we didn’t want to, but because competitor pressure at the time made it impossible.
Today, in an unexpected full-circle moment, we now have the privilege of supplying Sörbo Products to the entire market, including some of the companies that once opposed our access to it.
For those not familiar with the story, Sören is a modern-day genius. He invented dozens of window cleaning products still in use today. He held many patents over the years and was way ahead of his time.
Sören’s real genius went beyond the window-cleaning tools he invented. He custom-fabricated more than 40 machines that are still used today to manufacture his entire product line.
