personally i don’t say i charge extra to take care of them. i do charge a little more but i then point out/mention to them that i took care of all those spider webs, they always appreciate it and i usually get a tip. this way they think you did it for free. p.s. if they complain, the price is too high, tell them that includes all the spiderwebs and such.
fyi: im a new-b too but thats how i do it.
Bugs aside, that looks like easy money. I would price 44 of those panes at about $55 - $60 on a maintenance clean. For a first or one-time only clean, I’d be somewhere in the range of my price x 2 or 3 depending on how nasty the glass really is.
Edited: They make brushes that go on the end of your pole that do a pretty good job of removing spider webs.
If it’s a commercial job how often are you going to do it?? I have customers from once a month to once a week. I charge the same whether it’s winter or summer. Basically a dollar a minute. Sometimes in the winter I make 3 dollars a minute and sometimes in spider or fish fly season I make .75 cents a minute. In the end it evens out for me. If it’s a one time job chances are if you do a great job it will turn into a quarterly job at the least.
