Ok, so Perry’s work around for the spinning plastic red tip, works. One screw and no more spinning red tip. Great… But not so fast. Now the brush keeps loosening on the WHITE angle adapter. It doesn’t seem to matter how hard I crank it on, it keeps loosening up and then wants to spin. This is really ticking me off!! I can’t keep lowering the pole to re-adjust the brush.
Mine does the same thing. I just ram it into the corner of the window to straighten it out when it twists. Actually I find it really handy on windows that are off to the side of a wall…just a bit of pressure to twist the brush and I can reach the corners better. Sometimes you gotta look a bit harder to find the good in everything man!
I would try something else before putting thread lock on plastic. That stuff makes some plastics super brittle. I used to work for a snowboard manufacturer and would see tons of binding mounting discs come in shattered like glass. They always had a little blue coloring so you knew it was from the loctite, it just made the plastic super hard and then it would shatter under pressure.
One of my whack adapters does the same thing, the other doesn’t. The threads are a tiny bit different and one just seems to work better. My other adapters have never come lose.

I’m sorry for the issues you are having with the pole tip. I spoke to Perry yesterday and he assures me that the US is days away from having the new tip. This is a complete redesigned item, not a small improvement. I can get you one as soon as they are available, which shouldn’t be long now.
In the mean time, I would add a little plumbers tape to beef up the diameter and give the whack adapter something to grab onto. I know thats not a great solution but it should do until we get you a new tip.
I first I was using the one that came with it and the NLite brush, that combination was awful. Took too long to adjust the angle, the brush didn’t clean well, the pencil jets shoot off whichever way they want, the tip spun since I was trying to scrub too hard to make up for the brush not doing a good job.
My current set up is an aqua-tap, wack adapter, and clear reach it dual trim brush… The tip spins more than I would like, might have something to do with the aqua-tap since you have to turn it so it goes on/off

I run the extra 5 foot section on my unger n lite, with the pink wack adaptor, unger n lite hoggs hair brush and a tucker brush with no slipping at all.
Do you have just the unger plastic tip or the 5 foot long extension?
That’s definitely why it’s spinning then, I was going to put a couple screws in it where the tip meets the clamp. That way the clamp might lock onto it better.

The one brush that wouldn’t stop loosening off on me is the Tucker modded one I did for my brother. Answer. Self tapping screw through neck and into whack. No issues since I did it (12 months ago). Threads are an absolute pain, even a single one, but think of this…brush screwed to whack, whack screwed to either Aqua Tap or Aqua Daptor, then screwed to pole tip…end result being teeth gritting frustration. Sometimes we load the top of the pole with far too much kit and then, in my view, we wrongly apply blame to the pole. I think a little differently, the very FIRST question I ask is “hmmm, what have I done here” and then work from there.
The only problem I see with this type of fix is that now you have a screw through the brush into the threads of the Whack. Now when you take the brush off the Whack and try to put it back on, the holes have to line up perfectly or you will damage the threads.
I totally agree. Answer? I don’t take it off. I have a dedicated whack especially for that brush. the way I work actually I have dedicated whacks for each of my brushes and have a quick fit system to the pole tip…
