When you guys market your spring cleaning’s (I’m gearing this toward those in the Midwest), do you primarily target an outdoor only cleaning special to essentially clean the crap the snow left behind? Is it easier to get an outdoor-only client in the spring than trying to sell an indoor/outdoor cleaning?

personally I hit all my customers approx 1,200 mid March along with 2-3,000 bigger homes in the area with a postcard discount for window cleaning and gutter cleaning and whatever service they decide on I schedule, most go for inside and out, this year i will be doing $25 on 1 service and $75 if they have 2 different services such as windows and blind cleaning etc plus I start walking the beat in March on days I don’t have jobs and hire some sexy chick to make phone calls for me to my customers too as backup they don’t notice the postcard.
Basically for me, postcards, door hangers, google ads, referrals and just the sheer sexyness of being a Brit now Downton Abbey is so popular here helps pulls in those cute ladies so while right now I prefer NOT to work as its cold enough to freeze the bollocks off a brass monkey looking forward to the start of March assuming we get an early start to Summer

Look mate, any colder than what it is right now here in bloody Kansas/Missouri and I would rather lick the sweat off a monkeys balls than be outside. If people here want their windows done so bloody badly they can pay my premium or wait until its warmer. The only ice I want to deal with is in my drink at the moment while putting my feet up watching Bottom, Days Army, On The Buses and Ricky Gerval until the Sun decides to show and its at least 45 temps outside.
Come March will do the big push until then i don’t exist unless they are one hot rich babe of a house wife or I’m making a few quid for an easy job.

My wife did, she’s American. I think the culture thing is more true here in the flyover states than in the major cities but I take your point. Watching some guy ride a bull for 8 seconds is not my idea of entertainment!
