Sprint connect?

I picked up a sprint connect, it’s a little box you plug a regular landline phone into. It’s completely portable, so you could take it out of town with you anywhere you have an outlet. For $20/month you get unlimited calling nationwide. Plus I got $100 off my iPhone 5 for signing up. Anyone have one?

Not yet, gonna get one soon though. My landline service runs out at the end of this month (i pay yearly) and then I’m switching over. You like it?

On a side note, I had crap signal at my house for my cell. I called sprint and told them that my phone was for business and that it was useless to me if I couldn’t use it at my house. So they sent me an Airave for free. Wicked cool! It hooks up to your broadband and creates a mini cell phone tower in your house and you get full signal

I made one phone call so far, to my dad, and it was crystal clear.

I had a two-way Sprint cell phone issues were too many with Sprint connection signals were crap ditched it went Verizon never looked back

Sent from my iPhone using WC R mobile app

That’s funny, I just ditched Verizon for sprint.

For about a week. I hope you have better luck with it than I did. It seemed like a good idea until you realize you lose functionality like actually getting the phone to ring instead of just going to voicemail, or a busy signal, dropped calls, very poor voice quality, and the battary lasting more than 2 hours when you unlpug it.

You only have 14 days to cancel, so do a full gambit of testing otherwise you’ll be stuck.

How long ago did you have it Ryan?

Whats the point? why not just port the landline # to a cell phone? or forward it to a cell phone?

I plugged it in on November 16th and unplugged on the 20th. Its been almost four months and im still fighting for $500 in charges and breachs od contract stuff.

For starters my landline costs $55/mo vs $20/month. Also, this is portable so we can shift it between mine and my partners house in need be. I’ve had trouble with cell reception in the house and I don’t have unlimited minutes on my cell phone.

Ryan, was yours the connect 2?

Ever think of look’n into Magic-Jack?
I don’t know much about it, jus’ saw adds on TV for it.
