Squeegee and Blade, Sharpener and Trimmer

Has anyone tried using the Squeegee and Blade Sharpener and Trimmer?

In theory it sounds like a great idea, however i’m just wondering if anyone has had experience using it. Sometimes products sound great but they don’t really work that well. Just wondering

I’ve never used one, but I think you can only justify the cost if you run a business with several crews and go through a lot of rubber.

I’ve only seen it used. I understand there is a learning curve to using it. Beyond that I don’t see it’s real value. Here’s why - I fan as much as possible and that results in the ends of the rubber wearing out before the middle. I simply cut the rubber down to the next size and am ready to go. The Docket doesn’t help w/ this at all. I see why, with the cost of his rubber, you might need to get more out of it but, I’d just stick to cutting it down to use in smaller channels. Of course if you only do straight pulls then you might find value in the purchase.

If you only do straight pulls better invest in a training DVD

Good point my friend. Of course if you watch training videos a lot of his techniques are straight pulls or variations of straight pulls.

well if your using a 36 inch squeegee alot of the time your gonna be doing straight pulls to…or worst using the eliminator…isnt it 78 inches?

He will make the eliminator however big you want it. The largest standard size manufactured is 78" though.

I am wondering the same thing; i was advised against purchasing this docket by my supllier Window 101 in Seattle… still poeple have been wrong before. I spoke to the inventor at. He seems trustworthy and honnest. He says it is GREAT. On you tube you have a little clip. Check it out. It looks easy and a GREAT IDEA. What do YOU think? Let me know. I am bout to purchase one.

I dont have a good answer for you on the docket, I hear different things from everyone. It comes down to preference and time.

I am happy to announce that if you google sorbo products… WCR comes up #1 even before Sorbo!

Do you do mainly straight pulls? If so maybe it’s for you. If you fan (or swirl) it is a waste.

what is straight pulls and swirl sorry I’m French and never hear those words before
