I was wondering if there is much of a difference between brands of squeegee rubber? I’ve tried Ettore and Unger brands so far. Thanks for any advice given!
Ettore rubbers are the best hands down.
Only used Ettore for the last 25 years.
I think ettore rubber is top notch as well. However, a big factor in what kind of rubber to use is where you live. The temperature plus the humidity of your area will determine whether hard rubber or soft rubber is best. A lot of window cleaners in humid areas like Florida swear by Unger hard rubber.
For me though, I’ve had the best results with ettore soft.

I’ve tried most of the brands out there but always seem to return to the Ettore.
Wagtail, Pulex, Lfi & sometime Ettore for me.
+1 for Ettore. I’ve used a few other brands not worth mentioning that just didnt compare. Something about those Ettores…

Hey guys, I use Unger squeegees and channels, so I have been using unger rubbers. Can I use ettore rubber in an Unger channel? I don’t want to buy all new squeegees if all I have to do is change rubbers.

They are much more durable than any other rubber I’ve ever used. Plus they are more of a medium blend rubber instead of being either hard or soft making them more of an all season rubber.
