Squeegee Rubber Opinions

I use a similar configuration for almost everything commercial and residential; modified wagtail slimline (with wagtail scrubber though) and moreman liquidator. The only thing I found with using unger rubber is that it cause the liquidator to leave large bands of water (or skips?) at the frame on commercial windows, nullifying its intended design to get so close to frames and not have to detail. When I use wagtail rubber it works just fine however. Wagtail rubber is pricey but I think it’s my new fav.

squeegee rubber opinions hmmmm. my squeegee rubber doesn’t have an opinion, it’s an inanimate object with little to no brain.
sorry, had to.

Has anyone seen the black Diamond website where they recommend their soft rubber for ambient temperatures up to 95°F?

I asked a dumb question. If it gets that hot I’m going to go jump in the ocean.

That’s what we do here in Florida. :sunglasses:

Black Diamond is amazing…yes the ends burn out fast but that’s about it + the price is right!

Black Diamond is getting very popular - Its Hard Rubber Time!

I ordered my usual ettore and some pulex and some blackdiamond for my sorbo channels. Love the blackdiamond! Glides really nicely! Not a fan of the pulex too hard for me but will be nice backup when I run out of ettore.

I also have gone to black diamond ; majority of employees approved of it although ends do burn quicker. Ettore and sorbo are our usual choice but in days of rising overhead and shrinking profits you have to reexamine every facet of your operation. We have cut way back on purchases and stockpiling supplies now its on a as needed basis. Employees will learn to use what you give them and if they complain ask them if they want raises-travel time-holidays or whatever perks you offer or do they need brand new top shelf gear constantly?

I’ve always used Unger hard rubber, but have ordered some black diamond hard runner to try. Hoping this is great rubber for the price and recommendations.

Can you use a black diamond rubber in a Sorbo channel ?

Yes my crews said BD was the only replacement rubber that worked in Sorbo. For pole work id stick with Ettore hard rubber but i think BD superior to more expensive unger soft

i like moerman rubber . here in the UK iv yet to have a duff one and iv gone thru several of the big multi packs [10 lengths x 42 inches ]
with my employees never complaining once about this rubber
-and each rubber lasts almost week which is good
