Pressuretek.com - they have great starter kits at great prices. You can talk to Bob who can answer any question you might have. You can also call him from the job sight.

You’ll need a tank, anywhere from 65 gallons up to at least 100 gallons. Depending on the number of houses you’ll wash in a day you might need more than one. You can also get a 35 gallon drum filled with 12.5% SH, put water in your other tank and simply transfer the SH to your tank, then add Gain dish soap and some Roof Snot. The Roof Snot not only strengthens your mix but can preserve what’s left over for awhile.

Mix ratio? Depends on the severity of the mildew and/or lichen. What I do is take a 2 gallon pump up sprayer and I usually start out at a 50/50 ratio and do a few test spots and then adjust the mix as needed to see if it needs to be stronger or milder.

Always water down the plants with a water hose before, during and after you finish.
-
Rinse or don’t rinse? That’s usually up to the contractor. Some prefer to rinse the roof, some let the rain rinse the roof.
-
Once you’ve completed the job check the roof to see if you need to reapply to spots they may not have come clean the on the first cleaning.
