Hi,everyone I live in pennsylvania and do quite a bit of store front window cleaning.I have some chain restaurant accounts, convenience store accounts etc…anyway I was wondering what the average prices were in Pennsylvania for store front large glass down to small glass.also what people think the average is for commercial. The reason I am asking is because I want to compare mine.I have not put my prices up in years and I may be off my game at bidding.i use to be spot on.I know this seems silly I should have stayed on top of it better over the years.also what % do most of you increase your prices every year.A lot of my route work windows are $1 for medium sized up to $2 for large sized.Outside only of course.I want to get back on track so any advice would be great!
$2/ min!
I live in PA and would say from observation that markets vary around the state. I imagine that’s the case everywhere. At one time I felt $1/side was decent. Now that would be an exceptional thing.
I was thinking $1.50 to $2.00 a side depending on size.
Thanks, somewhere around $2 sounds right.Looks like a lot of my customers need to see an increase. They shouldn’t have a problem with it if they value my work. They know what it takes to run a business, after all they are in business for themselves.I do however have a few customers who play dumb and pretend they don’t know they are getting a good deal. The convenience store chain I have may be a problem. My family and I know the owner from my father installing glass in all the stores, but I still think there may be a problem with the increase as I have not put them up in years…It has to take a decent jump in price.
