While everyone’s jumping on this ‘tips and tricks’ bandwagon, I figured I’d jump in, too. So here’s a quick vid on my storm easel and how I use it. I think it’s a little bit unique from anything else I’ve seen out there.
Thanks for the kind words, everyone. I always get nervous about uploading videos of myself. I get hyper self-conscious, lol.
This is what I use: Pad Scrubber 3x6 Gripper Set | WIndow Cleaning Scrub Pads. What’s nice is the ability to replace the pads and keep the handle, plus you can flip the pad when one side wears out. The old Quickie scrub pads that I used to use have the handle fused on.

Can u explain your peg board pegs a little more? I don’t know if I’ve seen those before. Are they drilled into the ladder or are they something that kind of clamps on? Thanks for sharing I would like it if I could.

This type of thing:
I drilled 1/4" holes in the ladder, at the proper spacing, and just insert the pegs when I need to use it as an easel. The pegs are wrapped with some electrical tape to give a little grip and to keep from scratching the frames. Heat shrink tubing would work better, though.
This is probably the largest/heaviest storm I’ve had on the easel so far. I could have just leaned this against a wall to clean, but then I have to worry about scratching the wall, and I like having a little clearance from the floor.
And y’all are gonna laugh at this: I just dropped a storm window straight down those stairs in the picture. It was one of the newer style triple track storms, and it slipped off the peg and went tumbling down. I was like, “Oh crap. This is gonna suck…” The glass shattered in an epic manner at the bottom of the stairs.
Thankfully there were no homeowners around, and there’s a hardware store half a mile from here that fixes them for a reasonable cost.
So be careful. Don’t set up your easel at the top of a flight of stairs!
