Struggling with rubber

I’m located in Florida and for some reason I just struggle with all types of squeegee rubber whether it’s Ettore,Unger green, Uunger hard, mayyker rubber, Black Diamond, Moermon rubber I’m using the Mormon liquidator and accelerator handles and I get perfect, excellent results at my house but when I’m on a job, I struggle to pull water off the glass with all these brands of squeegee rubbers I just don’t understand why I’m having such a hard time. I’ve had same results with unger ninja unger ergotech and ettore squeegee setups.

try adjusting the angle of the handle. most equipment will get the job done, - pulex  , keep practicing. I’ve been at it for a decade and some days think: WTH the rubber is not working!

Sometimes a rubber and even a batch of rubber can be bad but it is usually angle, not enough soap/too much, length you cut the rubber, etc.

Having tried all of those rubbers, it may not be the rubber you are struggling with. Most likely just a technique glitch since you say your home windows come out fine. Just keep at it.

You’re in Florida, so you’re dealing with high heat and high humidity. I grew up in the Jacksonville area and started doing window washing there as well. We always had struggles, especially in the mid day hot hours. Key is to use less soap and more water, work around the sun as much as possible, and use HARD rubber. 90+ degree weather will destroy anything other than super hard rubber. If adjusting your angle/technique doesn’t help, I highly suggest trying Facelift Razrblade rubber. It tends to handle super hot glass really well without gumming up like some others. It’s expensive, but it also works in a climate like FL, and lasts a long time.

Good luck

100% agree with GingerNinja, use Razrblade. I’m in Vegas and needless to say it’s relentlessly hot here. I had issues with various types of rubber wilting in the heat. Razrblade is my go to for any day above 80 degrees here in the desert. Give it a try and good luck
