Use a hot air gun to heat the sections to red hot, then let them cool. Be patient you may have to do it 4 or 5 times but gradually the expansion / contraction will seperate them.
To stop this in the future over here I have reccomended electrical tape stop buffers that is the soulution to the problem. see this old thread.
