Tan through shirts

You’ll find it interesting if you just ask your customer if they have a problem with it, the majority that I have done say no. You tell them that it’s really hot and if you have a company tank top to help. Just ask your employees to keep the hair trimmed.

They are 70 percent cotton. The reason I bought these is because the company said these were good for stitching a logo on. I just bought one shirt a couple weeks ago. So far so good. I recently ordered 3 more. I would tell you to just buy one and try it out. Then if you like it you can buy more. I go in/out bushes a lot as well.

Also… ask your customers if they would keep their bushes trimmed enough away from the house (at least 1 - 2 feet) so you can get to the windows easier. I have a lot of customers who do that for me. Years ago I asked a customer to trim 2 trees for me that were rubbing against the windows. Next time i went… they were completely cut down. That was funny… made my job easier though

That’s awesome, I might have to consider that or do it myself

Why is it mandatory?

It gets blazing hot with humidity here.
With the moisture wicking tee’s and our wicking shirts it keeps us really cool… Errrrr ok COOLER Than the thousand degree days here.
We had a worker fall out at a clients house due to over heating.
The way we have our uni set up it REALLY keeps us cool…
The company buys the top shirts and their fist tee shirt

I watched a tv show where they tested those shirts on an iron man athlete. His performance was worse while wearing one. I think the theory was that it wicked the moisture away too fast.

Phil, I’m pretty sure skin cancer is caused by UV rays (a form of radiation), which are definitely emitted by the sun, the dermal layer of your skin can not stop them. If I was worried about Vitamin D I’d just change the source of milk I eat with my cereal to Vit D and keep my long sleeve shirt on. :o LOL

Agreed. That’s what I do.

Dang. I learn so much from this forum. Wow… thanks guys.

Hmm well at the moment I think I am more concerned about my tan than skin cancer, maybe that will change in the future, but I am trying to get all the sun I can right now!
I wonder if my customers would pay more for a shirtless cleaning package? Everyone would get super bronze and make more money!

Ya never know their may be market for it…

Here in the south, a farmers tan is standard attire. There’s something wrong with you if you don’t have one.

People think you’re some kinda nerd or something without one. Or either that you’re “sickly.”

Saw she had re-posted today… So thought i’d throw it out there…

She can definitely get a tan through that outfit.

This space for rent!

Thanks for the tip, Chad. I ordered 2 long sleeve shirts from Coolibar and have been using them for the past month. They feel great & perform well. Since they’re a cotton / bamboo blend, they don’t feel weird like the fully synthetic shirts do (to me anyways). They are nice & stretchy and wick well.

Your welcome. Glad you like them

I got some sleeves that are 50 UPF and I will sow them to my work shirts. Being in the sun all day I take sun care very seriously.

Who cares what you look like,. You’re alive right?
