So the waiver is only for tempered glass and or heat strengthened glass??? This may be a strange question but is all glass heated when it is made?? Does this waiver cover me in all glass that is already scratched from others not using the correct method of scrapping glass??
Yes only for those. No all glass is not tempered, in fact, in most homes less than 25% of the windows will be tempered. The waiver covers you against the hidden defect of fabrication debris and any scratching from it. Part of the reason to get the waiver signed is that you won’t know if FD is present w/out certain conditions on certain windows.
