Thanks a bunch, MWCoA

Thank you Master Window Cleaners of America for giving my contact info to Service Magic alias Home Advisor even though I haven’t been a member of the MWCoA since 2009.

They harass me weekly even though I have told them over and over that I am completely uninterested in ever doing business with them again due to their constant scamming and unethical behavior. Every week I get a call from a different area code saying, “Hi, this is (whoever) from Home Advisor. You asked me a couple of weeks ago to give you a call.”

And they just won’t stop. I had to get a VP on the phone and threaten to drive to their corporate office to get them to stop banging my card for leads all over the country (yes, they added over 500 zip codes) when I stupidly signed up through MWCoA six years ago.

Thanks a BUNCH.

This explains a lot, thanks.

Got a call yesterday from someone who I apparently ‘asked to give me a call back, a couple weeks ago.’

I usually just smack around the SEO/google types, followed by an immediate hang-up… so I though I was losing my memory on THIS guy.

Wow, I’ve had the exact OPPOSITE experience with them. They have always been very helpful to me and a pleasure to work with.

Yea I use it in the pool side of our business. We have spent right at $800 in leads and have done just over 25k in business this year. I hear lots of negative feedback but it has always been great for us.

They probably keep calling you back because they think you are some huge company that they need to get back with all that zip code history. I have heard bad things about them here as well. It is like Craig’s List, but you have to pay for it as well. All lowball jobs.

Who is in charge of MWCoA? They still around? Have any complaints been filed for the passing of info? That is just wrong.
