Now the designer needs window cleaners support to get this great product to market!
It seems to be the same concept as using a squirt bottle to keep your solution clean, with the added benefit of being able to clean your mop without dirtying the water. Kinda interested to hear more about it.
Looks like it is designed for an 18 inch applicator which would be a deal killer for me while doing high rise, we use 22 inch mops and 26 inch squeegee’s. It may be nice for residential on the other hand.
I feel like this could be an amazing product to have… but the cost to back it and the fact they need so much to fully fund it is troubling… $100 USD= 65 british pounds for something that frankly many people would consider fixing what isn’t broken.
I have a small tool addiction and love new window cleaning products so I am definitely interested. The fact I live in California with all it’s water conservation- to confidently say I use less water than everybody else would be a great marketing tool imo. And I like shiny things
But the way kickstarter works: If I just wanted to order a prototype, it’s not that simple. They need to reach their entire 70k goal before any backers have to pay (and subsequently get the prototype). And last time I checked their at less than 1%.
localwindowcleaner I like the idea of using kickstarter for this type of thing, but it’s not looking good at this point in time. If it ever gets to the point where I can just buy it right out let me know.
I appreciate the idea of saving water and keeping your wetbar clean, but that video was kind of ridiculous. The guy throwing around his bucket and sloshing out tons of wasted water while starting a window and slamming his over-full bucket into a fence is just dumb and sad.
