The next big thing at the WCRA

I’ll take Christian and Greene county in Missouri haha.

Looks like Chris has some fun on his hands sorting it all out in an equitable fashion

Thanks, Chris and everyone at WCRA. This is very cool. As for Mobile and Baldwin Counties (the 2 southern, coastal counties) in Alabama as well as Pensacola, Florida… don’t worry about first-come-first-served on my account. If you find somebody who is serious about their business, list them. Good, worthy competition only makes it better for me.

Portland, Oregon here please.

Not a problem for me thus far. I’m the only one in the entire state of Idaho. I’ll take the whilst state. Lol

Whole state. Sorry where the spelling Nazi.

Chris, you guys are awesome. Great idea and benefit.

Great stuff Chris! Can’t wait!!

is this still a thing? Im wondering where my wcra image on my website should link to or should i just keep it static. Im not going to link to thewcra.com as that is not a page customers should land on. Is there a wcra page where our customers who want to know why a wcra badge is good can go?

Currently no. BUT - we are working hard behind the scenes on WCRA 2.0 - We are planning to re-release in 4 - 5 weeks. I would happily build that page. Give me some more thoughts on what you would like to see on it. ( if you have any )

thanks

maybe a list or map of wcra members… where they can click by state and find the wcra member

I thought that was already a feature. I was able to do that on desktop a while ago. But haven’t checked in a while.

@Chris

Here are a few options I’ve thought of. I put them in order of what i would do:

  1. Have the wcra badge link to a page we can half customize in our dashboard (default wcra member info and then our specific info - phone number, address, website, services, reviews, intro etc) If i were you id have the page appear on your windowcleaner.com url so the link juice flows there and the google results show that url rather than wcra.com which is less clickable for google users. more links to this website from window cleaners means more wcra member pages will rank. Imagine having hundreds of window websites linking to windowcleaner.com Chris. This could mean authority and us having to fight with angies list, thumbtack, yelp results less.

  2. The badge links to a personalized page that says our length of membership and list some qualities a member shows by having membership

  3. Build a simple page that we link to that just extols the qualities a company may have as an active member and what the wcra is about.

These are great ideas I appreciate them. This is part of the general direction you will see with the new site roll out shortly.

We have had this up for a while, but I don’t love it ( it’s not terribly user-friendly )
