To be very plain it is a labor of love! I totally love everything about it. But it is work for sure. There is always the research which never stops. Sometimes I wake up at 3 with ideas. Then when the chems come in from manufacturers and suppliers I have to do the tests. Putting them together too. Writing posts for the blog. Writing the newsletters and addendums. Writing emails. Also creating the videos. This is especially fun. My greatest labor is locating sources for the ingredients. Sure I can find them from the large manufacturers. Where I originally source them. But most times they only sell 55 gallon drums where we only want to buy a quart. Then there are those times when an entire chemical/product has been discontinued. I have to do extra research to find out precisely what the chemistry was of that product and locate another source. This can happen even after a company has been making and selling a certain product for forty years. Or one company will sell out to another. The product remains the same but the name changes. So I have to go on a hunt.
I totally love research, tinkering, writing, and show & tell. So this is really fun for me. Just wanted to let you know what I have got myself into.
