Mineral acids will not bother plastic like plexiglass. Also even powerful organic solvents will not bother glass or titanium dioxide (TiO2). Solvents will not touch hard water spots however. And mineral acids will usually not remove very hard thick paint. But. Some of the most powerful solvents (with one or more benzene rings) will literally eat up paint on glass or low e coatings. Just DO NOT use them on plexi/or polycarbonate!
