Thought this was kind of a cool pic

Was on a job and this was snapped with an iphone, I just thought the lighting and the showcase of tools/belt was cool. Yes, tool fanatic… and I may be alone in this :stuck_out_tongue:

You are not alone rivet0r.

Sweet hat.

whats up with the knee pads? Ru a window cleaner?

Yes, CCU with a lot of low windows. Your knees will thank you later.

looks some rooftile work with some HOT roof tiles

although I must say in the 60 days of 95 plus temps, the beard, the jeans also look temperature hot, lol

the hat . . . that looks like cool shade, although one may ask if you are a landscaper or concrete guy with a hat like that.

they are great shade though

tell us how many 16oz cold water bottles youve been going thru in a day this summer? I clock 6+ on full day in the field with 100+ temps. whew.

customer told me she heard its supposed to be a rainy winter, greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat, NOT. I would love to have the revenue of 5 drought years first before we hit another el nino.

his tool belt looks like a window cleaner setup…see the scraper

Kinda Indiana Jones looking.

Rivet-Ski,

Very cool photo of you…I love that hat dude I have one also, a great sun breaker , plus your work belt looks highly functional ! I love squeegee holsters and my blink kity blank ,and your pouch is very cool , plus them knee pads really, really , really help…

Dude, dem boots are Sears Diehards, I’ve worn dem also for over 25 years, very good work boots ! I must say you look like a very professional cleaner.

Ranger-Danger

Yeah those tiles can get very hot… I prefer jeans because there is nothing worse than working in bushes in shorts, getting all cut up and leaves falling in your shoes lol

I agree the hat does always remind me of a landscaper lol. I only wear the hat here and there, oddly enough I don’t like to on new customer homes, but long time customers and those glaring days I’ll throw it on. Out in the sun daily, it’s more than just a nice tan, it’s minimizing skin cancer risk! My girl gives me crap if I come home all burnt up haha. They really do cut the heat down though, makes a big difference

I’m right there with you Bruce, I throw bag a good gallon of water a day! I’ll be honest though, some days I do get caught up in my work and forget to drink nearly as much as I should. I’m sure we’ve all done that lol

I really hope we don’t get another el nino, the market is already crud around here to begin with and any word, site, smell, or picture of rain will prevent the calls from coming in. Crazy

Thanks Dang! They truly are great sun breakers, they may look a little funny but they serve their purpose! I love my belt setup, and a well put together belt will shave tons of time! Right there with you on the knee pads, if I know I’ve got a lot of ground work I’ll throw them on to save some life out of my knees! I know too many broken down old timers from the sun and physical work, should always try our best to preserve what we’ve got.

Yup! First pair of Diehards, I used to rock timberlands in my construction days and they were great boots, but I find a flatter sole feels a lot better for all the ladder work… not to mention better feedback if you know what I mean! I still love the feedback with just plain old skate shoes, but they get torn up so fast it was getting old haha.

Riv-Man…They say it’s going to be El Nino this year and for the next 10 years.

Dange

These are some of the bags/pouches that I use now.

And some that I used in the past and still sometimes.

No I didn’t and don’t keep everything on my belt all the time. I try to have everything flexable, add or remove a pouch or tool as I need it.

All the pics didn’t come through, gotta work on that.

Great pic. At first glance I thought,“hmmm it’s a Navy seal or Ranger. I wonder what side arm he has? I bet it’s a…oh an Unger.” No it’s not a Ruger.

My question is…how fast are you on the draw?

There are a few plaza’s I do where some kids actually follow me and I do this routine for them . They get a kick out of it. I do a fast draw and then I squeegee pictures onto the windows for them. I have a bunch of pictures I do now and they get a kick out of it; sailing ships, rabbits coming out a hat, elephants, etc. Playing up the fun side of our work is great. I enjoy Getting compliments about how fun it is for people to watch two handed window cleaning. I encourage moms to let their children touch the glass, " it’s job security." Lol

great pic… Reminded me of the fun we have in our jobs!

I need to see video of this!

Kurt in Universal Soldier, Antonio in The Mexican, one of the characters from The Good The Bad and The Ugly. All we need is some whistling and the crack of a whip.
