I just bought me a 2013 Chevy Express year end sale. 2500 extended wheelbase. Its huge! mpg’s about 15.5 around town and about 17 highway. Not too shabby. And it fits well in underground parking lots.
Ya you know what , everytime I look in the mirror I tell myself that . I’m starting to believe it

Not. Fair. The US doesn’t get any of the really cool stuff.
Case in point: I really want a toyota townace/liteace. Somewhere between a Chevy Astro and a full size cargo van in size, they have diesel and 4x4 options. But you’ll never see them sold in the US.
Just added my ladder racks today after looking at them since we had 3 feet of snow on the ground.
Got a tool box that store almost all of my gear, including DI tank/hoses/brush.
Just going to add some PVC tubing to the inside of the bed on the right side(the kind you see on top of a plumber or electricians van) to hold my wfp and smaller extension poles.

These look like the same racks I have. I like em. Price was good. I paid $99.00 from an ad on Craig’s list
I use to have the same one on my old track that I sold.
Got them on eBay about same price.they were heavy and verry solid

I’d really like one of the new Dodge Ram Promasters. It’s my ideal vehicle. Holds a ton. Can tow a lot.*Easily customizable. Tons of room for logos. Diesel option gets an observed 24 mpg in the city with 3000 lbs of cargo. Front wheel drive so better driving in the snow. Lower floor loading height. Smallish turning circle. Cheaper maintenance than a Sprinter. Proven design that’s been popular in Europe for years as the Fiat Ducato.
I’m sold. Now only to come up with $35k of spare cash.
That looks awesome, kinda tall for easy access to roof rack ladders?
Great sides for signage and I’m sure there’s a ton of interior space for tools.

It is pretty tall. The few I’ve seen in person dont have ladder racks. My buddy with a high roof Sprinter has ladder racks though and he just pushes them up there from the back without too much difficulty. But usually he just keeps sectionals inside.
Sectionals are perfect for that van then
I love my 24’ extension ladder, I just feel a lot safer especially with the stand off on it too

You can get stand-offs for sectionals also .

Since the Promaster uses a front wheel drive transaxle vs a driveshaft, it sits a full 6.5" lower than a Sprinter (and probably a Nissan NV too). That’s 101" vs 107.5" which could mean the difference between getting into that parking garage (or fast food drive-thru ) or ripping open a custom sunroof in the cab.
You won’t regret it

I like how you have your tools hanging up. did you make the short handle on the left and what size channel is on the top.
I like it, simple and to the point. Are you going to add some shelves/storage on the inside?
