I like my little junker. It works quite well for some situations however I was never happy with the pledge treatment. So I tried some dry chain lube used for my moutian bike. Works really smooth. This is what I used but I am sure any dry lube will work. I also lubed the mechanical parts with this. My ladder has never been this smoooth.
