Tucker USA wf system?

anybody here have a tucker water fed system? is it too good to be true for a grand?

Which ‘system’ are you referring to?

I use one. Im fairly new to it. Its cheap because its made of aluminum and there really isn’t any hi tech enginuity to it. Looks like anybody could make one from items at a hardware store. I haven’t used anything to compare it to but it gets the job done. I think the main stink about the tucker is its weight. The brush connection is poor IMO. It seem to be one of the common break points. The cut slats a each connection are sucseptible to fractures unless you drill rounded ends to prevent cracks.
Its a strong pole once its been modified.

If you have alot of work to justify the cost, get a better pole. I have 2 Tucker poles and I hate them. They are heavy. If you want a good pole, get a good carbon fiber pole. Call Shawn, Chris or Alex and they can help you out with what would suit you best. If you are short on funds like me, a tucker will get the job done. Save up and get a lighter pole.

yea makes sense to get a better pole

I would pass on that and call Chris or Alex. I think you can get a carbon fiber pole and a DI tank for under a grand.

I started out w/ a 45ft Tucker pole. It has made me a lot of money. In fact I used it today on a bunch of windows that were 40ft up. Heavy? You bet and my arms are killing me right now but it’s been a durable and faithful pole for many years. I am planning on replacing it w/ a Gardiner Super lite this year but I guarantee it will make me more money before that happens. If you can swing it definitely get a Gardiner as your first pole.

Yeah but your chicky is lovin those bis and tris tonight!!!

What are you talking about?
Does the owner of Lily’s know that you post here representing the company?

Oh crap your not gonna tell them are you? I hope I don’t get canned! ( I was refferring to Tony throwing around that 45 footer all day) And actually I never even claimed lilys its not on my signature you have to dig through profile to find a link to my website. And who are you the fun police?

I believe I mentioned Lily’s a little earlier – without checking your profile. I recall the bizarro Morgan posts on NWCD.

BTW, your reference to Tony’s wife is sexist. She is a professional window cleaner and a member here. Show some respect – didn’t your mother raise you right?

Lmaof
Apparently not my apologies, since they are married she probably didn’t even notice those pumped up guns!
Just Kidding!

I used the Tucker poles for about 15 years, 2 years ago I switched to a fiber glass pole. my Tuckers were just plain tuckered out. But the fiber glass pole didn’t last a year! I prefer the tucker brush head over anything I’ve used thus far. but if I had to do it over again I would go with a carbon pole. The flip locks are far superior to the thumb screws, and no need to carry around a tool. Also, I prefer the Tucker hose over the clear hose which I see used on some of the other brands. On a hot sunny day the clear hose is more likely to kink. I actually have 400 ft of Tucker Hose on two orange ext cord reels, the hose is very durable and yet light enough not to damage the surrounding vegetation. The only draw back is the hose becomes stiffer on colder days, but other than that we love it!

I helped a fellow wcer last week and we used my Tucker pole to take care of the really high stuff.

Cool pics Tony! We had a couple tucker poles, just gave the last one away to a local window cleaner… Sad to see it go because it was my first pole, but glad to have been able to give it away to someone who can give it some use.

No I won’t tell them not that it will matter, I saw that the owner put a review of her own company on the Web and didn’t bother to change her name. I doubt they’d be smart enough to get rid of you. No I’m not the fun police just someone that thinks you come across as a Do***ebag.

Yeah thumb screws wear out quick if you start to over tighten them. So come to find out, my Tucker really isn’t a Tucker. It’s home made. I mean it looks like a tucker. same parts but i think the aluminum is a bit heavier gauge. It feels a tad bit heavier than the original.
I’m wondering, would a fiberglass pole be that much lighter than an aluminum wfp? What about the new Gardiner CLX. Its not fiber glass. Is it carbon fiber?

The CL-X is a carbon composite, part carbon fiber and part fiberglass.

why are you trying to be hunter s thompson?
