i want to get a boars hair brush and i like the design of the unger because of the clear space for the jets in the middle, the ease of switching jets etc… but for those of you that have one, how well does it scrub? i read in one post that it doesn’t scrub well, and i wondered it i just cut the bristles shorter would they scrub better because they’d be a bit stiffer?
i need ya’ll’s input.
I have been using the Unger NLite boars hair brush for a while. I know more than a year. It does a really good job. This is the only WFP brush I use. I use it for maintenance cleans. All my houses are every 3 to 6 months.
I only WFP about once or twice a month. I had never made a modifications to it.

It’s a great brush, scrubs great, but with regular use it will wear out quick. At least mine did. Mine barely lasted one season.
I definetly wouldn’t cut the bristles. They will wear out and get shorter with regular use.
be careful they use to be good . my first brush was amazing and then the next two total trash quality of boars was awful they mixed boars with nylon and was total mess . so just make sure you are getting 100% boars before you order
