I would love to be able to use just the “deep knap” cleaning pad, but it seems to leave some marks and the edges don’t come out well, any suggestions?

It only works when used dry. Follow up with the cleaning pad.
It also works great as a high duster. Window ledges,fan blades and I also use it sometimes to apply chemical like oil flow or Ecover.

Never actually thought of using the fluffy ones for dusting. I’ve been putting a microfiber rag on the holder for sills.
I used just the cleaning pad on a monthly storefront today. Went over the windows once, then came back with the same pad to touch up/polish… Worked great!

I just did a nasty indoor I had to use the regular squeegee method then went back over the glass with the Unger pads with pure water, worked great. It however does not remove anything more than very light dirt and dust.

You nailed it saying that it’s better for light dirt and dust. I did a monthly today (the one I made the previous post before yours about in August) and it’s still doing great, but there was some soft drink splatter on one of the panes. A small squirt of pure water and a quick wipe with a clean towel and the window came out great. Gots ta love pure water cleaning!!!
