Just trying out ungers liquid for washing windows on my residential jobs. So far I’ve found the slip is good and when I measure out the specified amount of cleaning solution into about 6L of water it just seems like its almost see through and the water on the glass looks like regular water when its on glass but like I said it glides ok.
Was just wondering if anyone tries this stuff and what your thoughts are on using it good or bad folks. Thanks
Not too bad unless you use a high volume of soap then it’s soap city. Awesome fun on windy days 400 feet in the air. They do have anti foam liquids you can purchase to prevent this… I use a reg amount of soap and am fine all dang day.
That’s definitely the Unger Easy Glide. I use it in the 5L jug. I like it, but it definitely looks like there is no soap on the window when you apply it to the glass. I like to measure it out, and then add just a little dawn dish soap to get some suds.
Honestly, I’ve been thinking about switching to just straight dawn dish soap. It’s cheaper.
I’ve used the Easy Glyde liquid for a time and I like it as it has good Glyde UT you have to use a lot of it, unlike Glass Gleam. It also dries white on the frames if your using it on commercial glass.
As for the gel, I used it along time ago, like 15 years ago when it first came out and I couldn’t get it to devolve in the water well. I have since heard it was designed to be applied directly to your applicator like some guys (myself included often) do with dish soap. The one thing I remember was in the winter it gets really thick and hard to squeeze out. It’s been 15 years or so and that’s what I remember.
