Lid will not come off for first time exchange…followed instructions.It’s not budging…any advice??

are you talking about the DI unit?

Have the same problem time to time. I would tap it with a mallet or something that wont damage it too much. It will need some definite muscle to get loose.

If you have an on/off valve on it, open the valve.

They tend to build up suction inside the unit.

Thanks, I tried tapping the lid handle while holding the pressure lever down…no on off valve.Contacted unger with no response…might have to take it back to J.Racenstein.

pushdown on the yellow lock and at the same time push down on the handles and turn counter clockwise. sometime you have to muscle it, if you’ve opened it before and it got some dirt in there it makes it even harder.
