Unger single stage

I bought this new as open box, never used any water fed system in my life. Always thought it was ver interesting.
After I bought it, I researched my water in the Huntsville, AL area. It was 81 ppm. After reading a bit, a single stage will cost you more to use because of the hard water. I think that’s correct.
My question is: can I add to the Unger hydro power ultra system to take the load off the resin?
I own a janitorial business and wanted to try this for a while. This is my first post. I did buy an extra resin from Window Cleaner, so I support the people who allow this platform.

I use a Xero 40 inch RO and a carbon prefilter running into the Unger single stage. I change my resin maybe twice a year, and our water is a lot harder than 81PPM

Hi Colt thanks for the support. In a couple of weeks we will be selling a new Unger RO based system that you can pop your existing hydro power right in to.

At 81 ppm the single stage DI should last a decent amount of time. If your just trying it out, experimenting with pure water, I see no need to go to the extra expense of a bigger system.
