Please state your opinions so I can decide whether I should buy one or not. I don't NEED one but I could use it on one job but I don't want to even try it unless it gets some positive feed back from y'all.

I use it for selected windows that cannot be cleaned traditionally with squeegees due to where they’re located. I use a 50/50 mix of pure water & rubbing alcohol. (I don’t remember who told me to use that mixture.) It works pretty well - you just need to spend enough time buffing/drying the glass.
It’s great for maintenance work. If this is a first time clean you will probably use several pads as they soil quickly. I would use one pad just for getting off all the physical debris, ie grit, dust bunnies, hair, etc then follow up with a wash and then polish. Seems like a lot of steps but you need to ask yourself why you are using that tool over others. is it to avoid tricky ladder work or to avoid using a scaffold or something.
For maintenance it is a great time saver. For first time cleans, not so much but may have some safety benefits.
I bought it a couple of months ago for those tricky high inside windows. First time I used it. Not too impressed. Second time, worked pretty good. Third time, hey I think this is ok. Fourth time, let me squirt pure water on the pad and instead of cleaning spray and see what happens, Wow! Just finished one of those A-Frame homes last week and this was hands-down my go to tool for the high insides using pure water. Homeowner had ceiling fans that were too much in the way for an inside ladder. So a six-foot step ladder got me the angle I needed. Also great for the insides of skylights. Homeowner said they had never been cleaner. Also great for getting to tough spots in my storefront jobs.
Like any other tool. It takes practice, practice, practice. I don’t regret my purchase.
Sounds good, thanks for the input.
Gotta say, was a little skeptical of this as a viable solution for vaulted 3rd story interiors. Out of necessity and I’ll admit a bit of desperation, I bought a set.
Color me impressed.
Being pros, I’ll trust you can see the difference from the pane on the right (clean) and the one on the left. (dirty)
The homeowner said these hadn’t been cleaned since the house was built 10 years ago. They were stunned at how clean they were. Frankly I was as well, my view has completely changed. The Unger speed clean kit is a legitimate interior cleaning option for hard to reach windows. (Or possibly more just the cloths. The head is great, premium materials ect, but it doesn’t seem any different than any wall mop in function.)
Great products.
I’d buy them separately if you don’t need the pole and have a generic spray bottle. I’d then take those savings and immediately add more pads to your order cause they are absolutely worth the money.
Note: The aluminum pad holder will not work with standard pole threads unless you use a standard to euro thread adapter.
