United States Postal Service- EDDM Associate

Hello everyone,

I am a business consultant with the United States Postal Service- Business Solutions team. I see that some of you are looking to send out a few postcards to grow your business. I’d like to offer my free consulting service and the potential opportunity to make the USPS Every Door Direct Mail® program through the United States Postal Service® part of your marketing campaign. I would like to discuss a few of the features and benefits that we offer, as they apply to your businesses:

Marketing by a geographic radius around your business

No mailing list or postage permit required

Cost effective at 17.5 cents per piece for postage (For 5,000 mailpieces that would cost approximately $875.00 in postage)

You control where, when and how many pieces are sent out

Our mapping tool allows you to tailor delivery of your message to your customers’ specific demographics: average age, household size, and household income

Your finished piece can include coupons, calendars, magnets, maps and more—to bring customers to your door, increasing your revenue

The Postal Service works closely with the printing industry to help customers achieve success in their advertising efforts. There are several companies that offer end to end solutions from Full Service (they print and mail) to Self Service (they print, you mail) for your design, printing, and mailing needs. The turnkey online applications hosted by Click2Mail, EDDM2Go, GrowMail.com, PrintingForLess, Taradel and others make the Every Door Direct Mail® (EDDM) process simple and convenient.

The mapping tool can be located at the United States Postal Service website under Business Solutions.

PDF versions of the EDDM size requirements, Indicia/Local Postal Customer Label requirement & details on the service are available upon request.

Each mailpiece needs to have the local postal customer label and indicia as attached to be mailed out.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I am here to walk you through the process IF you are interested. You would have complete creative control of the piece and who/when & where the pieces go to. My job is to make sure your piece fits the guidelines to be distributed by the post office and help you avoide costly third party vendors. You would just deal with the printer & United States Post Office. If your interested in doing a mailing and have a few questions, please reach out to me!

Warmest Regards,

Cherelle

Well this is a first… Welcome to WCR

Thanks!

Thanks for the availability. I believe a local from the Post Office called me with a similar offer. I haven’t got around to calling back yet

USPSEDDMRep welcome to the forum. You’re definitely welcome here since a lot of people use EDDM.

I’m curious about metered mail. I’m going to print out some post cards for customer reviews and would like to do it postage paid so they’ll actually get sent. I was going to go on the usps website, but figured I’d save a few mouse clicks and ask it here for posterity.

The United States Postal service works with Pitney Bowes to provide meter postage. You would pay a monthly premium and get discounted postage. EDDM can be done directly through the site and you choose your postal routes for delivery and pay online in advance to make sure you drop your pieces. Again postage will cost you 17.5 cents per piece which is very affordable!

daaang. now government up in here. i’m out!!!

Why? You got something to hide? That one time you did that one thing… yeah they already know about that. And that stuff? Everyone knows about the stuff too.

As far as I can tell, only project Jabberwocky is still pretty much secret.

I’m good on that one. The jujub bird and the bandersnatch are no longer in play.

Better off Ted was a great show.
Bummer.

Most govt. employees spend their time at work surfing the porn sites, at least thats what has been reported in the news for the past few days, the potus making selfie videos which is a disgrace and embarrassment to all Americans and empowers our enemy around the world, the IRS targeting conservative groups, the healthcare scam, letting 5,000,000 illegals into the Country and giving them 3 years tax refunds which totals go into the BILLIONS and giving them drivers licenses and the right to vote - Yeah, I dont have any faith in the current administration to do anything positive for this once great Country.

Its not that I have anything to hide, but I understand history and what happens when the govt. intrudes in your lives, and therefore I have nothing to share.
