There are so many kits out there. Mr. Hardwater, JFlint, Glass Renu, and so on. And so many stain removers in a bottle. I really don’t think we need any more. What we DO need however is an accurate understanding of the technology. And upgrades on the different kits. The first thing that should be happening is for these different companies to include a universal joint between the wheel and the drive shaft. In other words to create their own versions of the Wobble Wheel. I have been very very surprised this has not happened. I figured when I first put out my video that it would be copied. I have also posted about a slow release pad using a cerium oxide. And showed it in the same video. No one grabbed the idea. There are people out there that know SO much more than I do. They have built their own kits. But won’t tell anyone about what they have. The kits that are on the market now will change. We will change them. Not the manufacturers. Because we are the technologists. We have videos on this forum of guys redesigning window cleaning tools with drill motors and saws. The same thing my friends is happening RIGHT NOW with stain removal kits. Wonderful things are happening!
I agree with you things are constantly changing in the window cleaning world and glass restoration world all the time to improve the process and end results.
I have decided to withdraw from the idea of selling the wheels. I wouldn’t
make any profit from them anyhow. The ones I have I will keep and pay the
Tin Man myself. What I really want is the manufacturers of the kits to
copy me. Just plain upgrade their kits. I mean take for example the Glass
Renu. I talked with Cody for 45 minutes one day a few years ago. The man
is totally brilliant! I love his thinking. But you know. 22 years ago
when I was working with Unger on product development I learned real fast
about the business of product development. And more recently when I had
contact with our man Perry, I learned much more. It isn’t a game. And it
absolutely must follow a system. Perry has three words to describe it.
Talk to him about his biz. He loves to talk about stuff.
