Using a sprayer on store front glass?

I was wondering has anybody tried using a sprayer to spray pure water on store front windows and then mop and squeegee? If so what type of sprayer did you use? any help would be great. Thanks

Christopher Dawber’s (Wagga) Youtube channel has a lot of valuable info on portable pure water systems. He has a series on how to build a self-contained trolley, although to my knowledge he uses a WPF in conjunction with it, not a squeegee.

Some use a sprayer for trad work. @peterpetersnbg comes to mind. But you’ll need some soap in your mix if you’ll be using a squeegee.

Thanks for the help. Just trying to figure out a way to carry water in and out of stores that’s contained.

I may have misunderstood your question. For inside work, Unger has a bottle on a belt available here:

Or you could just use a spray bottle or an empty dish soap bottle filled with your cleaning solution to wet your mop inside.

^^^These a good simple options.

I have tried every imaginable type of sprayer from a bottle to a bladder tank on wheels and electric backpack. They all have pros and cons. My favorite is a tank based system mounted in the vehicle with long hose and pull apart wfp.

For exterior glass that is another great eay to do it.
The original poster was curious on a simple way to carry solution in and out of stores (if im not mistaken).
Simple solution bottle or spray bottle work well for me.

I don’t use pure water in conjunction with a wand/squeegee combo, but I’ve tried a pump sprayer, and the thing dripped everywhere inside, so I’m content with using a sleeve (moerman) than holds a lot of water, and a hip bucket. I wring a good bit of the solution out of the sleeve, and re-dip if I need more juice. I also use two full-size sheets for drop cloths. I may try a gooseneck sprayer, but I don’t really see a need to for storefront glass, perhaps residential.

I use a solution bottle in conjunction with bucket on a belt (just to hold the applicator) for interior work.

Hope it helps save you time and hassle.
Keep it simple!

I exclusively use a sprayer for store fronts. And what I use is stihl sprayers. Specifically the sg11 model it’s handheld and easy to go in and out of store fronts. I just use those DI pouches and make my water separately and refill my sprayer as I go.

Thats a nice model sprayer.

I like to keep everything simple and sleek.
Thats why i use a solution bottle fits nicely on my belt setup in a pouch and is always there when i need it.

Yeah this works great!

thanks for all of the help.
