Using Bucket on a Belt on a Ladder Is It Safe!?

We never use it for anything other than ladder work. We leave wand in boab and squeegee in between rungs if we’re lazy. Move ladder and nothing drops. Not much heavier. Much quicker and safer than lugging up and down. (in my humble opinion)

Been busy today, did not get a chance to make the BOAB holder for the ladder till late.

Once on the ladder you can get the scrubber and squeegee at the same time.

Put up video and pictures tomorrow.

Hi Herman you mean something like this

No John,

It holds the BOAB itself on the ladder.

An Unger boab already does that.

Which Unger BOAB would that be?

A picture of how it goes on the ladder would be interesting to see.

Both Ungers connect back on to themselves as a loop. You can put them around any rung.

OK see what you mean.

This one is more like John’s picture in the way it is put on the ladder.

You can use any BOAB to clip on the side of the ladder.

Not really… You could, but it would a lot of PITA factor - taking the loop off your belt first by threading it all the way to the buckle end, then reversing the whole deal to put it back on. With Pulex/Ettore you would also have to find a way of connecting the actual belt loop on a rung or stile. I don’t think you know your boabs…

Unger & Wagtail boabs are the only ones that loop round your belt with easy on/off action.

Just as an aside… I think you are over complicating the whole taking stuff up a ladder.
I wear/have the option of wearing 3 boabs at any one time. I usually work with two & they are Ettores.

The “reinventing the wheel” comment was a metaphor. And this discussion is most certainly deserving of the application of the metaphor.

Next thing you know we will be mixing metaphors. Oh my, what a pickle that will be!

I knew that :confused::rolleyes::o:D

This is awesome! I was just asking Herman I think it was last month to make something like this.

Never hook yourself to a ladder rung. If you fall, the ladder will follow suit.
