Please can someone who has wrapped a vehicle give me some sort of first hand knowledge of how much it increased business , or at least if it increased enquiries.
Considering wrapping my wagon because I “feel” it would be the best marketing investment, more so than anything else? Thoughts?

A wrap is well worth the money …you will make your money back in no time
But don’t think it’s the only advertising younwill need to do.
Use a professional !! Just like you want your customers to do.
One job has more than paid for my wrap: A facilities manager in my town was looking for a window cleaner. The window cleaning guy who has been around for 40 years kept promising to “come take a look” but never showed-up after three phone calls.
A few days later, the facilities manager saw me drive down his street in my wrapped van. When he saw my van he remembered seeing my website. My van seems to have legitimized me to him, confirming that my company, which he saw on my website was really a local company. We now clean his windows quarterly.
A wrap is a great investment. But well done vinyl lettering will perform almost as well for a much smaller cost.
I got a little carried away with the design of mine, wish I had kept it simpler and ulitized the back windows some, but I get complimented all the time. This would’ve been about $500 if they charged me full price:
I just got my logo and contact info put on my truck in vinyl lettering. It looks so much better than the magnets I had before. While I haven’t gotten a call yet specifically from people seeing the truck (it’s only been a week), I can say I just feel so proud driving around now. And I feel more confident when I enter potential customer’s property. It just feels so much more legit. On a recent estimate, the customer was definitely eyeing up my truck. I know it made a great impression. Even if I don’t get jobs directly from the truck, the feeling of confidence and legitimacy it’s giving me are more than worth the money! (Vinyl lettering is an option you might want to look into; it looks very professional, but is a good deal cheaper than a wrap.)
Boom! Great minds think alike . Can’t wait to see some pics, Daniel
I think a vehicle wrap would be a great investment. I have never had my truck wrapped, but if I wanted more business I would definitely have it done.
Think about how often you drive around, it would be a rolling billboard. Well worth the money!
I have to add that having a wrap makes a white panel van much less creepy and pedo looking.
Thanks guys, looks like the answer is a simple yes. I had that feeling of it making my business “legit” as was mentioned.
Apart from being a good deal the other reason it makes sense for me is that my wagon ( do you call them station wagons in the US? ) is 15 years old and has less than perfect paint after years of our children running toys and what not down the side of car. It’s now the second family mobile and runs fine. It was also in a tangle ( my fault ) and I had to have the front right guard (fender) replaced by a wreckers but they didn’t have my colour ( color lol ) , so I am driving around blue and silver. Not the best look…
So… a wrap would save me from fixing the paint issues on my very well mechanically maintained wagon. I can’t afford a new drive so this seems a great option.
I would say if you feel you could get at least five years before something not worth fixing goes , then wrap it .
It will make the appearance much more pleasant , an you will get that professional look An feel. Is it going to make the phone ring off the wall … No , but you will profit from it !
