Veterans Day Specials to share with your military friends and family

Each year, a number of restaurants and retail outlets offer special discounts - and even some free stuff - for military personnel. My family went out to eat at a couple of places last year on Veteran’s Day because we got free food. If you are or have been in the military, it’s worth looking into. If you have friends or family who’ve been in the military, pass the info along. As a military family, we really enjoyed it and plan to eat out again.

I’ve put this year’s list on our website. If you are active or retired military, take advantage of these! Or pass them along to your military friends and family.

An important note: I would suggest contacting the establishment beforehand to find out if that location is participating in the promotion, and also to find out if there are any restrictions.

Enjoy!

Thanks Allison for remembering those who served and continue to serve to fight for our freedom.
Everybody give thanks to the Veterans and remember to fly our flag proudly!

Guess I can get a coffee at Starbucks. Around here everyone is active, retired, or a vet in some way. Not a fight the crowd type so silently appreciate their gesture and remember they offered something in return. There was a time where kids were off from school and towns had parades. Guess those days are long gone. :frowning:
