Video: He sees a dirty window. What he does next will amaze you!

This is a demonstration of how a window cleaning professional can stack multiple techniques on a single window to achieve excellent results. This glass is covered with thick smears of silicone more….

Nice to see someone making posts that are informative AND interesting.

Keep it up Caleb. I’m sure that the majority here do really appreciate the hard work you put into helping others.

Everybody else… Step yo game up.

Am I the only one who gagged when they saw a clickbait/buzzfeed title on the WCR homepage?

No offense, Caleb

Haha, I was hoping someone would catch on to that. I HATE those things. “This pig was depressed. But when the music started, THIS happened!” Ugghh.

uh your working in the snow

I fuckin HATE THOSE as well!

I’ll be honest, until I read you and Alex’s comments, I lost faith in you… for a moment.
For a spit second.

But my bad… I should have known you were better/smarter than that… my sincerest apologies! :o

[looks outside window] Yep. And it’s still there.

Heck, it snowed on Halloween here.
If we didn’t work in the snow, we wouldn’t work at all.

Funny, I barely noticed the snow. It was above 28f so I was feeling downright blessed that day.

Yeah, it’s amazing (read: sickening) what we can get used to, huh?!?

P.S. we dodged a bullet today!
(sorry about your luck, New Yorkers!)

It would be nice if the companies who are responsible for the initial clean-up on a lot of ccu’s, that have no experience in window cleaning (like removing silicone), would at least watch videos like yours. I took over a brand-new storefront and I had to rat out the individuals who did the initial clean-up because they obviously tried to remove the silicone with a dry 1" blade and scratched the holy hell out of the windows.

Totally agree!

It’s just amazing how little people have a sense of accountability.

Did a job today, and there were these little (what looked like) fingerprints about 10-12 feet up.
Comes to light they had some painting touchup work done,
and they actually WERE fingerprints when the dupe touched the glass with “painty hands.”

It got to the point where I had to pull out my
"should I invoice them for the extra time, or are you going to cover it" card.

And I HATE being that guy. :frowning:
