oooohh I like that one. Looks more portable and easier to use then the previous model. Also the foot ball valve is a nice touch.
$200 less than version 1.
This looks amazing.
I’d of been instantly sold if it’s 4 feet folded up for even easier storage and transport.
You would have to wash 100+ screens with it before you made any money. No thanks. Doesn’t make much since.
100 screens would be your dollar amount, now factor in the time saved.
That’s insane DJ! How many windows do you have to wash with your wfp before you make money? Try it and I guarantee you, you will never go back. If you don’t love it, I’ll buy it from you.
I guess I don’t take screen cleaning that serious. I guess I can see how it would save some time. I guess if you really want me to be a believer then buy it for me Larry. ;).
It’s not uncommon for us to clean 40 on one job. I was happy to buy version one for $500+. Saves your back and time.
I’m sold
I am 90% positive I am putting this in my shopping cart. I have a close to $2k house coming up full of frenchies, storms and screens. I’m thinking of running pure water through it and use it to clean storms. Who wants to clean 100+ storms by hand!?
This is a much better design that version 1. It’s more compact and I love how you use your foot to shut the water off and turn on, saves that pure water.:)
Looks like a real back saver, I need this!
Tapatalking
I too was looking for a way for those legs to fold up/in. Either way it’s not a deal breaker. I really think IPC has a winner with this one.
The two problems I see with hooking up Di to the screen cleaner, di is tough on metal parts I believe(haven’t looked at specs, could be plastic I don’t know), and there are just to many nooks and crannies for water to hide in and then drip out when replacing.
This space for rent!
For anyone that already has an IPC screen washer, version 1 or 2:
Does the thing do a good job with really dirty screens? We find that most screens we clean have green moss and mold on the frames, and so we actually give more attention to the frames than the mesh. Having a soapy solution helps rejuvenate the frames and make them look clean. Do you think the screen washer does a good job in that regard? Does the lack of soap leave the screens “less clean” than if you did it by hand?
Maybe diamondridge can share his thoughts on the first generation washer.
There are some who are injecting soap through the system, with the first generation it was pretty easy. You could easily hook the Unger HiFlo Soap Dispenser right to the machine and wash with soapy water.
